This disability holds a special place in my heart for me... The first person I worked with when I entered this field had cerebral palsy, and I worked one on one with her. I also worked for United Cerebral Palsy/Easter Seals from 2008-2009 in St. Louis, Missouri! They are a wonderful organization!!!

- Although a person may have severe physical impairments when they have cerebral palsy, and may not even be able to communicate effectively verbally, a person who has cerebral palsy usually does not have significant intellectual difficulties.
